Benayas Business Group PLC is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Finance Accountant, import procedures, and logistics activities. The role is critical in ensuring smooth procurement processes, efficient import documentation handling, accurate financial management, and timely delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities Finance Management • Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping. • Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and financial reports. • Manage accounts payable and receivable. • Support budgeting and cash flow planning. • Coordinate with tax authorities. • Perform bank reconciliations and financial documentation. • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory control. • Ensure cost-effective procurement processes. Import Operations & Logistics • Manage end-to-end import procedures and documentation. • Handle Letters of Credit (LC), foreign payments, and banking processes. • Coordinate with customs, clearing agents, freight forwarders, and suppliers. • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of imported goods. • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian import regulations. • Maintain import and logistics records and reporting. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, import operations • Strong experience in import documentation, LC processing, and customs clearance is highly preferred. • Knowledge of Ethiopian banking and import regulations is an advantage. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills.
