Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations, and supporting the organization's day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial records and reports. Record daily financial transactions accurately and timely. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial policies, and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits and financial reviews. Perform any other accounting duties assigned by management. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial management practices. Experience with accounting software, including Peachtree. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Experience working in the construction sector is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
