About the Role: We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant for our client in the hotel industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with specific experience in the hospitality sector. This role will involve managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. - Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making. - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. - Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections. - Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements. - Assist with audits and implement recommendations from auditors. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting software - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of hospitality financial regulations and practices is a plus.
