Job Summary The Afan Oromo Call Center Operator will be responsible for providing professional customer support mainly to Afan Oromo-speaking customers through phone and digital communication channels. The officer will assist customers with information about digital insurance products, onboarding, premium payment, policy details, claim initiation, and other service-related inquiries. Key Duties and Responsibilities The Afan Oromo Call Center Operator will: Provide customer support through phone and digital communication channels. Respond to customer inquiries in Afan Oromo and Amharic related to insurance products, registration, onboarding, premium payment, policy information, and claims. Assist customers in understanding digital insurance services and how to use them. Guide customers who face challenges during registration or service use. Record customer inquiries, complaints, feedback, and service requests accurately. Escalate unresolved, technical, claim-related, or complex issues to the relevant team. Support customers during claim initiation and documentation submission. Follow up with customers when additional information or clarification is needed. Maintain professional communication and customer confidentiality at all times. Prepare basic daily or weekly call and customer support reports as required. Required Qualifications Applicants must have at least a college diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications, Customer Service, or other related fields. Language Requirement Fluency in Afan Oromo is mandatory. Good communication ability in Amharic is also required. Knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage. Experience 0 to 1 year of work experience. Experience in customer service, call center operation, sales, marketing, insurance, banking, digital financial services, or related areas is an advantage. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply. Required Skills and Competencies Good communication and listening skills.
