We are looking for a strong B2B sales candidate who can generate, qualify, and manage sales opportunities for our software and business management solutions. The person will be responsible for identifying potential customers, contacting decision makers, understanding business needs, qualifying opportunities, coordinating demos and meetings,following up on proposals, and maintaining a disciplined sales pipeline.This is not a simple calling role. The candidate must be able to understand business problems, ask the right questions, explain software value in simple terms, and move prospects toward clear next steps. Key Responsibilities • Research and identify target companies and decision makers. • Generate leads through calls, email, WhatsApp, referrals, visits, online research, and business networks. • Qualify leads based on business need, decision maker, urgency, budget indication, current process, and next step. • Maintain all leads, follow-ups, activities, and opportunity stages in CRM. • Coordinate demos and meetings with internal teams. • Prepare proper handover notes for qualified opportunities. • Support proposal preparation and follow-up. • Track objections, lost reasons, and customer feedback. • Submit regular pipeline and sales activity reports. • Provide market feedback on customer needs, objections, competitors, and sector demand. Required Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have: • 2+ years of B2B sales, business development, software sales, IT services, ERP sales, or corporate sales experience. • Strong communication skills in Amharic and English. • Confidence to speak with business owners, managers, and decision makers. • Ability to understand customer problems before selling. • Good follow-up discipline and CRM usage. • Ability to explain software/business solutions in simple business language. • Persistence, organization, and comfort with targets. • Professional appearance and conduct. • Experience selling solutions rather than simple products is preferred. Important Personal Qualities We need someone who is self-driven, structured, curious, persistent, honest, and comfortable with rejection. The role is not suitable for someone who waits for daily instructions or only performs under close supervision.
