Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): - Monitor branches to ensure they provide excellent, timely, and respectful customer service to all SACCO members. - Offer continuous, hands-on guidance and technical backup to branch personnel across all daily operations, ensuring they have the necessary support, technical advice, and managerial alignment to run their workflows smoothly. - Act as the dedicated first-line support channel for Branch Representatives and staff; deliver proactive frontline assistance, resolve day-to-day operational bottlenecks, and serve as the central bridge to Head Office departments. - Conduct regular, structured field visits to ensure branches strictly adhere to the SACCO’s internal credit policies, operational manuals, cooperative laws, and regulatory guidelines. - Routinely collect, track, and analyze periodic financial performance reports .Inspect branch cash handling, physical safe balances, and bank reconciliations to minimize financial risk and operational leakages. - Monitor the overall quality of branch loan portfolios. Identify early warning signs of default and collaborate directly with branch staff to implement effective recovery strategies and manage Non-Performing Loans (NPLs). - Serve as the primary point of contact for branch operational needs, coordinating with Head Office logistics to ensure timely delivery of essential tools. - Provide practical onboarding, hands-on guidance, and operational training to branch personnel on standard formats and system procedures. - Compile comprehensive field assessment reports after each visit, highlighting operational gaps and actionable recommendations for management.   Requirements & Qualifications • BA Degree from a recognized university in Cooperative Management , Accounting , Banking & Finance , Business Administration , or related field. • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a Bank, Microfinance Institution (MFI), or Saving and Credit Cooperative (SACCO). • Direct experience working as a Branch Manager or within an internal Audit/ Supervision role is highly advantageous.   If you are interested in this position, please submit your resume and cover letter only within  consecutive working days from the date of the announcement to Afriwork Applicant Bot or careers@tigatsacco.com .
