Brand Strategist & Social Media Manager Remote | Ethiopia | Part-Time (Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time) Brightstar Marketing Solutions is looking for one talented professional who can combine strategic branding with social media marketing. We help immigrant owned small businesses build strong brands and grow their online presence. We’re looking for someone who understands that great marketing starts with strategy, not just attractive visuals. Key Responsibilities • Develop brand strategies based on market research, customer insights, and competitor analysis. • Design complete brand identities, including logos, color palettes, typography, and brand guidelines. • Create marketing materials such as business cards, social media templates, and promotional graphics. • Plan and execute social media strategies for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. • Create engaging content, captions, graphics, and short-form video ideas. • Schedule and publish content consistently across multiple client accounts. • Manage comments and direct messages while maintaining each client’s brand voice. • Track performance and prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations. • Stay up to date with social media trends and continuously introduce fresh ideas. • Collaborate with internal team members to maintain consistent branding across all marketing channels. Requirements • 2–4 years of experience in branding, digital marketing, or social media management. • Portfolio demonstrating branding projects and social media work. • Strong understanding of brand strategy and digital marketing. • Experience using Canva Pro and Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. • Excellent copywriting and communication skills in English. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with small businesses or startups. • Knowledge of Instagram and TikTok algorithms. • Experience using scheduling tools such as Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite. • Basic video editing skills. • Familiarity with Ethiopian and East African businesses is an advantage.
