The ideal candidate must be skilled in preparing fresh dough by hand, operating a brick oven, and maintaining consistent quality in a fast-paced kitchen. Key Responsibilities * Prepare pizza dough entirely by hand, including mixing, kneading, portioning, proofing, and stretching. * Prepare sauces, toppings, and ingredients according to company standards. * Cook pizzas using a traditional brick oven. * Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. * Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. * Monitor ingredient quality and minimize waste. * Assist with stock control and inventory management. * Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. * Train junior kitchen staff when required. Requirements * Proven experience as a pizza chef, preferably using a brick or stone oven. * Strong knowledge of dough fermentation and pizza preparation. * Ability to prepare dough manually without reliance on automated equipment. * Good spoken and written English. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Reliable, punctual, and a good team player. * Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
