Background Light for the World is an international disability and development organization working to advance inclusive societies where persons with disabilities participate fully and equally. The We Can Work program focuses on economic empowerment and employment inclusion for persons with disabilities across Africa through advocacy, awareness, and capacity-building. To strengthen communication impact and expand outreach among young digital audiences, Light for the World seeks to engage two (2) influencers through a competitive procurement process. The influencers will support awareness campaigns, disability-inclusion messaging, and promotion of the 2026 International Day of Persons with Disabilities theme. 2. Purpose of the Assignment • The purpose of this bidding process is to select qualified and reputable TikTok influencers who can: • ·Amplify disability-inclusion messages to large and diverse online audiences. • ·Promote the We Can Work program’s employment and inclusion objectives. • ·Produce creative, high-quality video content aligned with the program’s communication strategy. • ·Encourage employers, youth, and the general public to adopt inclusive societal attitudes. 3. Scope of Work The selected influencers will be expected to perform the following tasks: a. Digital Advocacy & Awareness ·Communicate key disability-rights and inclusion messages via TikTok. ·Promote positive perceptions of persons with disabilities in employment and public life. b. Content Production ·Produce original, high-quality TikTok videos (2-3 minutes each), stories, and short-form content. ·Ensure all content aligns with Light for the World’s ethical guidelines and safeguarding standards. c. Campaign & Event Participation ·Participate in selected We Can Work events, online discussions, and public engagement activities. d. Reporting ·Submit monthly reports including performance metrics, reach, engagement, and audience insights. 4. Deliverables Each influencer must provide the following: 1. 5 TikTok videos production ( 1 video content per month) and post (each 2-3 minutes) on their TikTok account between 1 August 2026 to 30 December 2026. 2.Participation in key events or digital campaigns with the accommodation and peridium by the light for the world and applied when required by Light for the World. 3. Monthly reports detailing: oVideo outputs oEngagement metrics oReach and impressions oAudience responses and feedback 5. Bidder Eligibility & Minimum Qualifications Bidders must meet the following criteria: a. Digital Presence Requirements ·Active TikTok account with verifiable engagement (views, likes, shares, comments). ·Minimum follower threshold 20,000 followers ·Demonstrated track record of producing quality, creative video content. b . Values & Ethical Alignment ·Commitment to disability inclusion, social justice, equality, and respectful communication. ·Content that is non-discriminatory, inclusive, and aligned with safeguarding standards. c. Experience ·Proven experience creating awareness or advocacy content (preferred). ·Prior involvement in social campaigns or public-interest messaging is an advantage. d. Sex and physical conditions ·Male and Female Persons with disabilities. e. Administrative Requirements ·Valid business license for influencers operating as a business. ·Ability to issue receipts/invoices aligned with local requirements. 6. Bid Submission Requirements Interested influencers must submit a complete bid package containing: 1. Technical Proposal influencer profile (bio, niche, audience demographics). description of proposed content approach for the campaign. oWork plan outlining content schedule. oExperience in campaigns or advocacy. oCopy business license oMedically approved physical disability/ or visible physical disability oActive TikTok account with verifiable engagement (views, likes, shares, comments), and minimum follower threshold 20,000 followers oQR code for TikTok account and sample videos. oDemonstrated track record of producing quality, creative video content. 2.
