To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Senior Driver . The successful candidate will be reliable and responsible Driver to join our team the ideal candidate should be reliable, punctual, courteous, and familiar with local roads and navigation , with a clean driving record and good communication skill. The driver should maintain the vehicle properly, follow traffic regulations, provide excellent service, and be flexible with working hours and schedules . The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of more than 120 employees who contribute their skills, knowledge, and energy with great enthusiasm. Position in organization: - Reporting to: Fleet Supervisor Responsibilities: - · Safely operate vehicles in compliance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations. · Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance. · Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior. · Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring safe handling of goods. · Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs. · Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules. · Follow company policies and procedures regarding the transportation. · Handle any roadside emergencies and ensure timely communication with the management. Required knowledge & skills: - Ø Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ø More than 4 years Experience driving. Ø Ability to navigate using GPS and maps. Ø Good physical condition and stamina for loading and unloading. Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ø Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ø knowledge of traffic rules and regulations Ø Fluent in English and Amharic (written and spoken). • Competences: • Integrity and Trustworthiness. • Team Player. • Accountability and Reliability. • Flexibility in Working Hours. • Ability to work under pressure • Time management Preferred Profile The ideal candidate an experienced, licensed, safe, and defensive driver who is reliable, punctual, professional, courteous, familiar with local roads and navigation, has a clean driving record, and is flexible with working hours.
