Position 1: Teaching Assistants (KG to Grade 8, Across Two Campuses) Required Qualifications & Experience • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Education , Early Childhood Education , or related fields. • Strong communication skills in English and Amharic. • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (preferred). • Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and maintain professionalism. • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email communication). Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Position 2: Kindergarten Coordinator Required Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Kindergarten/EYFS or early childhood settings. • Familiarity with the British Curriculum (Pearson Edexcel) and EYFS framework is highly desirable. • Proven leadership or coordination experience within an educational context. Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Position 4: School Nurse Required Qualifications & Experience • Diploma or degree in Nursing from a recognized institution. • Current valid nursing license or certification to practice in Ethiopia. • Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with pediatric or school health focus. • Knowledge of basic first aid, emergency care, and health screening procedures. • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Preferred Attributes • Experience working in school or community health settings. • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff. • Compassionate, patient, and able to handle sensitive health situations with discretion. • Familiarity with international school health standards and protocols. • Proficiency in English and Amharic preferred. Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Position 5: General Manager – Operations, Administration & Compliance (KG to Grade 8, Across Two Campuses) Required Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Minimum 7 years’ experience in senior operational, administrative, or general management roles — preferably in an educational or service – oriented organization. • Proven track record in budgeting, HR management, facilities oversight, and regulatory compliance. • Strong understanding of Ethiopian labor, finance, and education – related laws. • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite. Preferred Attributes • Experience in managing multi – campus operations. • Prior work in an international school or cross – cultural environment. • Strategic thinker with strong problem – solving abilities. • Fluency in English and Amharic; additional languages an asset. • Commitment to DUKA’s values of integrity, collaboration, and excellence.
