E-Bike Technician Required Man Power – 3(Three) Place of Work - Addis Ababa Job Summary The Senior Electric Bike Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric bikes to ensure safe and efficient operation. The position provides technical leadership to the maintenance team, oversees preventive maintenance activities, and ensures compliance with company standards and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities · Perform advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of electric bikes and related components. · Troubleshoot electrical systems, batteries, controllers, motors, and wiring issues. · Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure timely servicing of the fleet. · Inspect bikes to ensure safety and operational readiness. · Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts usage logs. · Guide and support junior technicians and mechanics through on-the-job coaching. · Coordinate with suppliers and management regarding spare parts requirements. · Ensure proper handling and charging of batteries according to safety standards. · Monitor workshop tools and equipment and ensure they are properly maintained. · Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and technical issues. · Recommend improvements to enhance fleet performance and reduce downtime. · Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Qualifications and Requirements · Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. · Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electric bike, motorcycle, or vehicle maintenance. · Strong knowledge of electric motors, battery systems, controllers, and electrical troubleshooting. · Experience leading or supervising technical teams is an advantage. · Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals. · Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. · Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting.
