Position: Digital Communications Officer Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, Film Production, Multimedia Production, or a related field. • Additional certifications in videography, photography, multimedia production, digital marketing, social media management, or content creation are advantageous. Work Experience • Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in digital communications, content creation, social media management, multimedia production, or corporate communications. • Demonstrated experience in video production, video editing, photography, and digital storytelling. • Experience managing organizational social media platforms and digital campaigns. • Experience in corporate organizations, media houses, creative agencies, development institutions, investment organizations, or public sector institutions is an added advantage. • A strong portfolio showcasing multimedia and digital communication work is required. Technical Competencies • Strong digital storytelling and content creation skills. • Advanced videography and video editing capabilities. • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent editing software. • Strong photography skills, including composition, lighting, and image editing. • Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent tools. • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and engagement strategies. • Knowledge of website content management systems and digital publishing tools. • Ability to analyze and interpret digital performance data and analytics.
