Key Responsibilities – Cost Control, Purchase & Stock: · Inventory Management: Conduct daily and weekly physical stock counts for all food, beverages, and packaging materials. · Purchase Oversight: Manage the entire purchasing cycle; verify supplier prices, ensure quality of goods received, and prevent overpricing. · Cost Analysis: Monitor food cost percentages and identify areas of waste or overspending. · Ordering: Calculate par levels and approve orders to ensure sufficient stock for operations without overstocking. · Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to negotiate best prices and ensure timely delivery of raw materials. · Reporting: Prepare cost reports and update management on variances and savings opportunities. · Loss Prevention: Monitor portion control and kitchen waste to protect profit margins.
