We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Field Operations & Farm Development Officer to support the setup and launch of a new poultry farming project. This role is not only about farm operations.  it is a foundational role in building the farm from the ground up. The selected candidate will be responsible for gathering essential information, researching best practices, and supporting the practical setup of the poultry farm before and during its launch. Key Responsibilities : # Conduct field research on poultry farming setup requirements (equipment, housing, feed, breeds, etc.) # Gather information on suppliers, pricing, and reliable farming inputs Support planning and implementation of the poultry farm launch # Assist in identifying operational needs and farm infrastructure requirements # Visit relevant farms, markets, and suppliers for benchmarking and networking # Document findings and report insights to management # Assist in early-stage farm operations once setup begins Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and industry contacts Requirements : # Experience in poultry farming is highly appreciated (but not mandatory) # Strong research and information-gathering skills # Good networking and communication abilities Ability to visit field locations and interact with suppliers and farmers Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently # Strong interest in agriculture, livestock, or farm development # Basic understanding of poultry farming is an advantage What we offer: # Opportunity to be part of a startup farm from the ground up # Hands-on experience in agricultural business development # Growth opportunity into a senior farm operations role # Competitive salary based on experience and contribution
