WE ARE HIRING – FINANCE MANAGER Location: Addis Ababa Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Finance Manager to build and lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing strong financial systems, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and developing a high-performing finance team that supports the company's long-term growth. Key Responsibilities * Build, organize, and manage the finance department from the ground up. * Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS* . * Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning. * Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards. * Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger. * Coordinate internal and external audits. * Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. * Improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and profitability. * Recruit, mentor, supervise, and develop the finance team. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. * Strong knowledge and practical experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). * Experience in establishing and improving finance systems and internal controls. * Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, budgeting, and financial analysis. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
