We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Officer to support the finance department in daily accounting and financial activities. The candidate will assist with payments, budget tracking, petty cash handling, invoice preparation, and financial documentation for event projects and company operations. Responsibility • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely bookkeeping • prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports • Assist in budgeting forecasting and financial planning • Monitor cash flow banking transaction and reconciliation Accounts payable and receivable • process invoices payment and staff reimbursement accurately • Manage accounts receivable follow up on payment and reconcile accounts Ensure proper documentation of financial transaction payroll and employee Benefits • process payroll and ensure timely salary payment • Manage statutory dedication such as pension income tax and social security contribution Handie staff benefits allowance and expense claims Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage. Experience • Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping. • Experience in payroll administration, taxation, and financial reporting is preferred. • Experience using accounting software (e.g., Peachtree/Sage, QuickBooks, ERP systems, or similar) is an advantage. Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices. • Understanding of Ethiopian tax laws, pension regulations, and statutory compliance. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. • Ability to prepare budgets, forecasts, bank reconciliations, and financial statements. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
