The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing sales, maintaining product availability, and supervising floor staff. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Supervise daily floor operations and ensure smooth store functioning. Monitor sales floor activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and stocked. Coordinate with department supervisors to maintain merchandise availability. Conduct regular floor inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization. Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively. Customer Service Ensure high standards of customer service throughout the store. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally. Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements where necessary. Support customer retention and loyalty initiatives. Staff Supervision Supervise, motivate, and support floor supervisors and sales staff. Prepare employee schedules and allocate manpower effectively. Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and performance. Conduct on-the-job coaching and training for team members. Participate in recruitment, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when required. Sales and Merchandising Monitor daily sales performance and work towards achieving sales targets. Ensure effective merchandising and promotional displays. Coordinate implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Analyze sales trends and recommend improvements. Inventory Control Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities. Minimize stock shortages, damages, and losses. Support inventory counts and stock audits. Ensure proper handling of products and inventory management procedures. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a safe shopping and working environment. Ensure emergency procedures are understood and followed. Monitor adherence to company policies and operational standards. Reporting Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Report sales performance, staffing issues, inventory concerns, and customer feedback to management. Recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
