The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, proper merchandise display, staff supervision, stock availability, and compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Supervise daily sales floor activities and ensure smooth store operations. Monitor product availability and coordinate replenishment of shelves. Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and promotional displays. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the store. Conduct regular floor inspections and address operational issues promptly. Staff Supervision Supervise and support sales associates, cashiers, and floor staff. Assign daily tasks and monitor employee performance. Provide on-the-job coaching and training to team members. Ensure staff adherence to company policies, procedures, and dress code. Assist in preparing employee schedules and managing attendance. Customer Service Ensure customers receive excellent service and assistance. Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary. Monitor customer satisfaction and implement service improvements. Support staff in handling difficult customer situations. Inventory Control Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams. Assist in stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits. Report damaged, expired, or missing products. Ensure accurate product labeling and pricing. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Identify and report potential safety hazards. Support loss prevention and shrinkage control initiatives. Maintain compliance with company policies and operational standards. Reporting Prepare daily operational reports. Monitor sales performance and report findings to management. Report staffing, inventory, and customer service issues. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field. Minimum 2–4 years of retail, supermarket, or hypermarket experience. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred. Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good organizational and problem-solving abilities. Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandising. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
