Full-Stack Developer — Confidential Pre-Launch Project Type: Full-time Location: on site [Addis abeba city - hybrid] Start: Immediate About the Role A founder-led, pre-launch technical project with a complete, locked specification document already in place. You will not be guessing what to build — you will be executing against a fully detailed spec, working alongside AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as a force multiplier. Project details, scope, and product specifics are shared only after a signed NDA and an initial conversation. What We’re Looking For Experience level: • Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience • At least one production project you can speak to in detail — not just tutorials or personal projects • A portfolio, GitHub profile, or live project links demonstrating real, shipped work • Comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day supervision Must have: • Strong backend development experience (Node.js, Python, or similar) • Experience with real-time systems — websockets, live data, or similar • Experience integrating at least one third-party API involving financial transactions • Comfortable working daily with AI coding tools, but able to catch when AI-generated code is wrong — not just accept it • Careful, security-minded instincts — you double-check sensitive logic without being told to Nice to have: • Mobile development experience (Android, React Native, or Flutter) • Experience with multi-tenant or multi-client system architecture • Experience building for emerging market user bases What We Offer • Full ownership of company repositories, cloud accounts, and infrastructure from day one (all work produced is company-owned and subject to a signed IP agreement) • Competitive monthly salary, paid consistently regardless of development milestones • Direct collaboration with the founder on a fully specified product with clear requirements • Ground-floor opportunity with long-term growth potential within the company How to Apply Send a short note covering: 1.
