JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: General Office Messenger Company: Diligence Technologies PLC Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa Reports To: Administration / Finance Manager Employment Type: Full-Time 1. Main Role & Key Responsibilities The General Office Messenger plays an essential, highly mobile, all-rounder role within our corporate team. The candidate serves as the operational bridge between the office, financial institutions, clients, and partners. A. Tender & Procurement Operations • Document Purchasing & Submission: Buy official tender documents in a timely manner from public/private entities. Handle prepared bids carefully, ensuring strict compliance with submission deadlines. • Tender Representation: Attend official bid-opening ceremonies, register competitor financial and technical parameters, and accurately report results back to management. • Securities Management: Follow up on and physically retrieve expired Bid Bonds, CPOs, and performance guarantees from external entities upon tender completion. B. Banking & Finance Liaison • Financial Processing: Coordinate the issuance of Bid Bonds and Cash Payment Orders (CPOs) directly with branch personnel. • Cash & Bank Operations: Safely handle physical cash deposits, structured withdrawals, and process corporate transfers. Regularise the collection of official bank statements. • Receipt Accountability: Collect valid financial receipts for all external cash or bank disbursements, ensuring clear handovers to the finance department. C. Administrative Support & Document Control • Office Logistics: Manage inventory and purchase required office stationery and kitchen supplies. Co-manage staff and guest travel logistics, including local/international ticket settlements. • Filing & Archiving: Help maintain strict order by organizing, indexing, and updating physical files and digital databases. D. Field Errands & Mail Routing • Logistics Distribution: Hand-deliver official outbound letters and log packages. Pick up corporate mail, notifications, and incoming physical packages. • Managerial Support: Swiftly execute time-sensitive field tasks and operational errands directed by management. 2.
