GOLDEN STAR PLC is searching CCTV Operators to act as the central, real-time guardian of the Golden Star plc sites, responsible for protecting personnel, high-value assets and infrastructure by using advanced surveillance technology. This role serves as a first line of defence to detect, analyze, and escalate security breaches, safety incidents, and operational bottlenecks across the compound, Golden Star PLC is seeking qualified and experienced professionals to join our team for upcoming projects. We invite competent candidates to apply for the following positions: Position: IT Specialist & CCTV Operator Education & Experience • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: more than three years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support. Technical Skills • Proficiency in network configuration (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, and Wi-Fi infrastructure). • Working knowledge of Windows Server environments and client OS. • Experience with Video Management Software (VMS) platforms and camera hardware alignment. Soft Skills • Sharp Attention to Detail: Ability to spot anomalies or suspicious behavior across multiple video feeds. • Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills for both software glitches and hardware failures. • Discretion & Integrity: High ethical standards regarding data privacy, sensitive security footage, and internal company information. • Communication: Ability to write clear incident reports and explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
