Ahununu Trading PLC , a growing logistics company, invites qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the following position: Job Title: Health and Safety Officer Roles and Responsibilities · Implement and monitor workplace health and safety policies and procedures. · Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. · Ensure compliance with company health and safety standards and applicable regulations. · Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with recommendations. · Organize and deliver health and safety awareness training for employees. · Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote safe work practices. · Maintain health and safety records, reports, and documentation. · Coordinate emergency preparedness activities · Support the implementation of occupational health programs and employee wellness initiatives. · Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements · Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or a related field. · Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. · Basic knowledge of occupational health, workplace safety, and reporting procedures. · Familiarity with workplace health and safety standards is an added advantage. · Good learning attitude, strong commitment, and excellent communication skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
