Job Title: Industrial Compressor & Gas Systems Technician (Service Engineer Track) Employment Type: Full-time, 24/7 Shift Rotation (Training Provided) --- The Role: · Operate and monitor high-pressure industrial gas compression systems · Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical, electrical, and control components · Learn and apply safe handling procedures for oxygen-generation / gas-processing operations · Maintain accurate service records and spare parts inventory --- Required Skills & Experience: · Mechanical: Pump/valve overhaul, bearing replacement, belt/alignment work, piping and sealing systems · Electrical: 3-phase motors, variable speed drives, relay logic, basic PLC fault-finding, and sensor calibration · Controls: Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals · Physical: Capable of lifting 25kg, working in confined/noisy spaces, and standing for extended shifts · Soft Skills: Strong attention to safety, clear shift handover reporting, and team coordination --- Qualifications: · Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent trade certification) · Minimum 1–2 years in industrial maintenance (rotating equipment, pumps, or compressors preferred) · Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply --- What We Offer: · Full hands-on training in oxygen-system operations and compressor servicing (no prior gas experience required) · Structured upskilling pathway to become a fully qualified Service Engineer · Competitive shift allowances and overtime benefits
