Integration Project Manager

Job description
DestaHealth | Full-time | 3pm to 12am EAT, flexible About DestaHealth DestaHealth supports US mental health practices through backend administrative and operational services. We partner directly with practice owners; some partnerships become acquisitions, and we form MSO relationships. We are hiring our first dedicated Integration Project Manager to own the operational backbone of that pipeline: from signed LOI through diligence, closing, and Day 1 go-live. About the role Once an LOI is signed, a clock starts: dozens of diligence items, a seller with questions, internal reviewers with opinions, and a closing date that does not care about any of it. Right now our leadership team watches that clock alongside everything else they own. They would like to stop. This role exists to make that possible. You are the single point of accountability for keeping every active deal on schedule: running the diligence tracker, chasing open items, flagging risk early, and making sure nothing slips between diligence, closing, and Day 1. You operate independently, and we are counting on you to push back when timelines are at risk. Quietly reporting bad news on time is not the job. Preventing it is. You report directly to two CEOs. Not co-CEOs: two separate chief executives, each running a different side of this operation, both counting on the same tracker. If they ever point in different directions, reconciling that is their job, not yours. When you escalate a risk or challenge a timeline, both will back you. With sellers, you speak for DestaHealth on diligence: you send requests, set dates, and hold the schedule without waiting for permission. You'll inherit a structured system: a multi-tab diligence tracker, a seller-facing request packet, a portfolio rollup, and transition templates. You will run it and make it better every deal. What you'll own • Run point on diligence for every active deal: assign owners, chase items, keep statuses current, and know at any moment where each deal stands. "Let me check and get back to you" is a phrase you will retire. • Be the seller-facing contact for diligence. Sellers are handing over practices they built; we never ask for the same document twice. • Maintain the portfolio rollup so leadership sees which deals are on track, which are at risk, and why. Green cells that should be red help nobody. • Drive closing and transition through Day 1 go-live: credentialing, payroll and systems cutover, staff transition, vendor assumption. Day 1 either works or it doesn't. • Improve the process deal over deal: spot what's slow, redundant, or missing, and propose the fix before anyone asks. • Escalate early, to both CEOs, with a clear recommendation. Bad news ages terribly; deliver it fresh. • Handle the executive-assistant tasks that keep a deal team organized: scheduling, document prep, follow-ups. Roughly 15 to 20% of a typical week. If booking a calendar slot feels beneath you, this role will disappoint you roughly weekly. Your first 90 days Day 30 : the tracker is yours and leadership is out of the chasing business. Day 60 : you own all seller contact and the rollup ships without prompting. Day 90 : zero missed deadlines attributable to follow-up, and one improvement you proposed is live. What we're looking for • A track record of driving major initiatives or complex operational programs. M&A or healthcare experience helps but is not required. • An autonomous operator who takes a mandate and runs, moves fast, and holds people accountable to deadlines. Including senior leadership. Yes, including us. • Fluent, polished English for direct communication with US sellers, attorneys, and leadership. • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and PM tooling. Our tracker has many tabs. It is beautiful. You will come to love it. • Daily AI use: we build AI into how we draft, summarize, and track, and you will too. • Discretion. Deal terms, financials, and records adjacent to patient care flow through this role. This is the one bullet we have no sense of humor about. • Hungry to grow: a foundational hire whose seat scales with the pipeline. Hours • Your mornings are yours: gym, errands, life. From 3pm, you are on New York time. • Standard window 3:00pm to 12:00am EAT, flexing with the deal calendar: some stretches run earlier or later, quiet ones run much lighter. Coverage when a deal needs it, not hours logged. Compensation: Starting at 60,000 ETB + net based on experience and expertise.
