Key Responsibilities • Record and process accounting transactions accurately. • Assist in bookkeeping and financial record maintenance. • Prepare and organize supporting documents and accounting files. • Assist in bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. • Support the preparation of VAT, withholding tax, and other tax-related schedules. • Assist in preparing financial reports and management reports. • Maintain client records and documentation. • Follow up on missing financial documents from clients. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities. • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements Education • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field. • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. • CGPA of 3.0 and above preferred. Skills & Competencies • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. • Good Microsoft Excel skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Good communication and organizational skills. • Willingness to learn and receive feedback. • High level of integrity and professionalism. • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Preferred Qualifications • Internship experience in accounting, finance, audit, or taxation is an advantage. • Basic knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws is an advantage. • Familiarity with accounting software such as Peachtree, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is an advantage.
