The Junior Accountant will support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations within a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment. Key Responsibilities • Record daily financial transactions (invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries) • Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable • Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts regularly • Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports • Track and verify logistics-related expenses (transportation, fuel, warehouse costs, etc.) • Assist in inventory cost tracking and valuation in coordination with operations team • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records • Support payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements • Assist during internal and external audits • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and local accounting standards Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 0–2 years of experience (internships included) • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is a plus) • Strong Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, reconciliation) • Good attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment • Good communication and teamwork skills
