Job description
Key Responsibilities • Record and post daily financial transactions and journal entries into the accounting software. • Manage Accounts Payable by verifying supplier invoices, purchase orders, and processing payment vouchers. • Handle Accounts Receivable, including generating client invoices, tracking receipts, and monitoring debtor aging reports. • Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, petty cash, vendor balances, and customer statements. • Assist in preparing monthly statutory declarations and tax filings (VAT, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, Pension). • Support senior accountants in month-end/year-end closing procedures and preparation of trial balances. • Assist with audit preparations by organizing relevant financial schedules and supporting documentation. • Maintain well-organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records, vouchers, and contracts. Requirements & Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in general accounting or finance operations ( strong academic background are welcome to apply). • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (Peachtree/Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
