National Cement _ Lemi Plant, with its recent plant at Lemi in addition to Dire Dawa, is currently a member of the joint venture formed between East African Holding and West International Holding (WIH), a multi-billion stock market listed Chinese industrial enterprise, in the following developments; ‍ With its Lemi plant completed in September 2024, National Cement alone now covers more than 50% of the current cement demand of Ethiopia. The joint venture partners National Cement Share Company and West China Cement / West International Holding Co. Ltd/ have entered an agreement for USD 2.2 billion investment to be carried out at different phases. Position 1: DCS Engineer Required Qualification : A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering. Work Experience : Above 2 years better to work as DCS specifically in a continuous process industry (Cement, Power, or Steel). Position 2: Equipment Administrator • Required Qualification : • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. / BA) from a recognized university. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology (with heavy industrial experience), • Level IV / Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Technology, Industrial, • Work Experience : A minimum of 4 to 5 years of progressive experience in asset management, maintenance planning, technical documentation, or warehouse/stores administration within an industrial setting. Required competency • Equipment Asset Registry & Hierarchy Management • Technical Documentation & Blueprint Archiving • Equipment Lifecycle Tracking & Depreciation Compliance • Statutory Compliance, Licensing & Certification Management • CMMS & Data Integrity Management • Familiarity with cement industry technical drawings or basic CAD environments (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) is an added advantage. Position 3: Senior Production & Maintenance Engineer • Required Qualification : A minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from a recognized university Mechanical Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. • Work Experience : A minimum of 6 to 8 years of direct, progressive engineering experience specifically within a cement manufacturing plant.
