Position Details • Position: Logistics Officer • Location: Addis Ababa • Employment Type: Full-time • Salary: Attractive and negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and salary history • Application Deadline: July 6, 2026 Job Summary The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day logistics operations, shipment planning, transportation activities, customer communication, documentation, and operational follow-up to ensure efficient and timely delivery of logistics services. Key Responsibilities Logistics Operations • Coordinate import, export, transportation, and freight forwarding activities. • Follow up on shipment movements and operational performance. • Prepare and maintain logistics documentation and operational records. Customer & Operational Coordination • Liaise with customers, transporters, customs authorities, and service providers. • Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues. • Ensure timely execution of logistics activities. Reporting & Compliance • Prepare logistics reports and operational updates. • Ensure compliance with company procedures and logistics regulations. Requirements Education • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Maritime Management, Business Management, or a related field. Experience • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain operations. Skills • Good understanding of logistics and transportation operations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
