Department Marketing Reports To Marketing Manager Position Summary The Trade Marketing Supervisor is responsible for executing ROMEL's trade marketing activities in the market, ensuring excellent retail visibility, effective promotional implementation, strong distributor and dealer engagement, and consistent execution of trade marketing plans across all regions. The role acts as the operational arm of the Trade Marketing Manager by translating trade marketing strategies into actionable field activities. The Trade Marketing Supervisor is expected to spend significant time in the market monitoring execution, coaching field teams, conducting retail audits, and ensuring that all trade marketing investments deliver measurable business results. This position plays a critical role in increasing ROMEL's market presence, improving customer engagement, supporting sales growth, and maintaining superior retail execution standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Trade Marketing Execution Responsibilities • Execute trade marketing plans developed by the Trade Marketing Manager. • Coordinate all field marketing activities and retail activations. • Ensure timely implementation of campaigns across all assigned territories. • Monitor campaign execution quality and compliance. • Track campaign performance and provide feedback for improvement. • Ensure all promotional activities are completed within agreed timelines. 2. Retail Visibility & Merchandising Management Responsibilities • Ensure ROMEL products are displayed according to company standards. • Monitor product placement and visibility within stores. • Supervise installation of branding materials and POSM. • Conduct regular retail audits and market inspections. • Identify visibility improvement opportunities. • Ensure all promotional materials are properly maintained. • Report damaged or outdated branding assets. POSM Management Includes: • Shop branding • Product displays • Shelving materials • Posters • Banners • Roll-up stands • Dealer signboards • Window stickers • Product information materials 3. Retailer Relationship Management Responsibilities • Build strong relationships with dealers and retailers. • Regularly visit key trade partners. • Gather feedback from channel partners. • Resolve trade-related marketing issues. • Support dealer engagement initiatives. • Ensure dealers receive adequate marketing support. • Monitor dealer satisfaction levels. 4. Trade Promotion Execution Responsibilities • Implement trade promotions and incentive programs. • Coordinate dealer competitions and reward schemes. • Monitor promotional compliance. • Track participation levels and results. • Verify promotional claims and incentive eligibility. • Submit performance reports after each promotion. 5. Roadshows, Events & Product Activations Responsibilities • Organize and supervise roadshows. • Coordinate product demonstrations. • Manage electrician engagement activities. • Support contractor awareness programs. • Coordinate exhibitions and trade events. • Ensure proper setup and branding of activation sites. • Manage promoters and event support teams. 6. Market Intelligence & Competitor Monitoring Responsibilities • Conduct regular market visits. • Monitor competitor activities and promotions. • Track competitor pricing and visibility. • Collect retailer and customer feedback. • Identify market trends and opportunities. • Report findings to the Trade Marketing Manager. 7. Sales Team Coordination Responsibilities • Work closely with the sales team to support execution. • Coordinate field activities with sales supervisors. • Ensure promotional materials are available. • Support sales initiatives and product launches. • Share market insights with the sales team. • Assist in achieving sales objectives. 8. Product Launch Support Responsibilities • Support new product launch activities. • Ensure launch materials are distributed. • Coordinate launch events and demonstrations. • Monitor product availability during launch periods. • Collect market feedback on new products. 9. Reporting & Performance Monitoring Responsibilities • Prepare weekly market visit reports. • Submit activation reports with photos and outcomes. • Track POSM deployment status. • Monitor campaign performance metrics. • Report market challenges and opportunities. • Maintain accurate field activity records.
