The Nikat Charitable Association (NCA) is the only sex worker-led NGO dedicated to the welfare of female sex workers (FSWs) in the country. Over the years, in addition to being a strong advocate for FSWs, NCA has implemented a range of comprehensive programs focusing on the prevention of HIV/AIDS, the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights, economic empowerment, other health and social Services and advocacy and rights-based programming. Position: DIC Counsellor (Female Only) Qualifications : • BSc Degree in Clinical Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, or related fields • At least 1 year of counselling or related work experience • NGO experience is an advantage • Training in counselling or SRHR is preferable • Ability to work respectfully with vulnerable and marginalized female sex workers • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills • Fluent speaking and writing skills in Amharic and English are required • Additional local language skills are considered an asset and may provide an advantage among equally qualified candidates Additional Requirement Applicants who live in Akaki Kality Sub-city or nearby areas, or who are willing to relocate close to the DIC, are highly encouraged to apply.
