Today the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, who provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons (IDP) worldwide. We cooperate closely with the UN and other humanitarian organisations, around the world as well as in Norway. Position 1: Finance Assistant Generic professional competencies: Minimum 1 years’ experience in related field BA in Accounting/Finance or similar field Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities Knowledge about own skills/profile Knowledge of English, both written and verbal Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience: Goal oriented with ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision.
