Job Title: Odoo Implementation & Technical Specialist Company: SVHL | EASE Engineering PLC Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Onsite Job Type: Fixed-Term Project Contract Reports To: Lead, Odoo Recovery & Delivery Office Job Purpose SVHL is looking for an experienced Odoo Implementation & Technical Specialist to support completion of an ongoing Odoo ERP implementation across Solstice Ventures Holdings and its ventures. The role will serve as the day-to-day technical and operational implementation support lead. The specialist will coordinate module rollouts, validate configurations, support UAT, track testing and training, follow up on system issues, and work with the implementation vendor to move the project into structured completion. This is an individual technical and operational role, not a department management position. Key Responsibilities • Support the Recovery Office in maintaining the master project completion plan. • Provide strong Odoo functional and configuration expertise, preferably with Odoo 19. • Break down remaining implementation work into clear tasks, dependencies, and technical criteria. • Track implementation activities, blockers, risks, module status, and action items. • Coordinate rollout of standard, configured, and custom Odoo modules across business units. • Work with functional teams to confirm workflows are usable, complete, and aligned with operational needs. • Coordinate UAT, including test scenarios, checklists, failed test cases, bugs, user feedback, and retesting. • Coordinate training schedules, SOPs, user guides, and workflow materials. • Maintain a centralized Odoo issue log covering bugs, configuration gaps, access problems, workflow issues, and user concerns. • Follow up with the implementation vendor and internal users to ensure issues are corrected, retested, and closed. • Provide first-level functional support and coordinate with IT on access, configuration, and security matters. • Track vendor deliverables and performance commitments, escalating delays or contractual deviations to the Office Lead. • Prepare weekly progress updates showing completed work, pending actions, unresolved issues, upcoming activities, and risks. • Support go-live readiness checks, cutover activities, user readiness, and post-go-live stabilization. Decision Authority The specialist may coordinate implementation activities, maintain trackers, document issues, engage operationally with the vendor, and recommend corrective actions based on technical feasibility. The specialist may not approve contractual changes, authorize payments, sign off milestones, approve scope changes, or communicate official project extensions or acceptances to the vendor without written clearance from the Recovery Lead. Required Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or another relevant field. Equivalent education with strong ERP/Odoo experience may also be considered. • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ERP/Odoo implementation, configuration, testing, user training, business systems analysis, or implementation support. • Proven participation in at least one full-cycle Odoo implementation, migration, upgrade, or go-live project. • Strong knowledge of Odoo ERP core modules, workflows, configuration, and implementation practices. • Odoo Functional or Technical Certification is required. • Understanding of business processes across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, HR, Payroll, Sales, CRM, Projects, and Reporting. • Strong documentation, issue tracking, testing, coordination, and follow-up skills.
