Position: Office and Site Engineer Department: Operations / Projects Reports To: General Manager Job Summary The Office and Site Engineer is responsible for coordinating project activities both at the office and project sites. The role involves contract administration, project follow-up, client coordination, payment processing, subcontractor management, and ensuring projects are executed according to company standards, specifications, and timelines. Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Contract Administration ● Review, administer, and monitor project contracts and agreements. ● Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications. ● Maintain proper records of contracts, correspondence, and project documents. ● Assist in preparing contract-related reports and documentation. 2. Site Supervision and Follow-Up ● Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress. ● Supervise laborers, subcontractors, and site activities. ● Ensure works are executed according to approved specifications, drawings, and quality standards. ● Identify and report site issues and recommend corrective actions. 3. Client Coordination ● Serve as a liaison between the company and clients on project matters. ● Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required. ● Follow up on client requirements, approvals, and project-related communications. ● Maintain positive professional relationships with clients. 4. Payment Follow-Up ● Follow up on outstanding payments and project receivables. ● Coordinate with clients regarding payment schedules and certifications. ● Maintain records of submitted invoices and payment statuses. ● Report payment progress to management regularly. 5. Subcontractor Management ● Prepare payment certificates and work progress evaluations for subcontractors. ● Verify completed work quantities before processing payments. ● Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with project requirements. ● Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure timely project completion. 6. Project Documentation and Reporting ● Prepare project progress reports and updates. ● Maintain site records, work schedules, and project documentation. ● Assist in preparing material requests, quantity take-offs, and project correspondence. ● Ensure all project documents are properly filed and updated. Qualifications ● Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management, or a related field. ● Minimum experience in construction project supervision and contract administration is preferred. ● Good knowledge of construction materials, finishing works, waterproofing, painting, and epoxy flooring is an advantage. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. ● Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
