The PANDA Assessment Officer will work under the Research Manager to design, implement and report on research cycles for IMPACT’s humanitarian initiatives. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a relevant field such as international studies or data science, with at least three years of experience in monitoring, evaluation or research within a humanitarian context. Strong qualitative research skills are required, while quantitative analysis and familiarity with aid systems are considered assets. Applicants should demonstrate excellent communication abilities in English; knowledge of Amharic is desirable. They must be able to operate independently in complex security environments and manage multiple tight deadlines across various research cycles. The role involves drafting terms of reference, coordinating primary data collection, conducting qualitative analysis, producing high-quality research outputs (factsheets, briefs, reports), engaging stakeholders throughout the cycle, and contributing to learning processes. Successful candidates will also support dissemination activities for partners and donors.
