• Develop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 . • Prepare project WBS, activity sequencing, durations, relationships, and baseline schedules. • Monitor planned versus actual progress and identify delays. • Collect weekly progress information from Project Managers and site teams. • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management. • Prepare and update project S-curves and progress dashboards. • Prepare project cash-flow forecasts and planned expenditure schedules. • Coordinate with the Accountant to compare planned cash flow against actual project expenditure and receipts. • Prepare manpower, equipment, material, and resource plans. • Prepare and monitor procurement schedules based on project requirements. • Identify critical activities and prepare recovery plans when projects fall behind schedule. • Support preparation of extension-of-time claims, delay analysis, and variation-related schedules. • Monitor progress of multiple PHI Engineering projects from the head office. • Provide management with clear information on project progress, cost, cash flow, and upcoming requirements. • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Senior Engineers, QS, Accountant, Procurement, and site teams. Required Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of relevant construction planning/project control experience . • Strong practical experience with Primavera P6 . • Experience in building or infrastructure construction projects. • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and progress measurement. • Experience preparing S-curves and cash-flow forecasts. • Good knowledge of Excel and construction project reporting. • Ability to manage schedules and reports for multiple projects. • Experience with claims, delay analysis, and recovery schedules is an advantage. Preferred Candidate: We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked on G+4 or higher buildings, commercial buildings, infrastructure, EPC, or other medium-to-large construction projects . The candidate must be able to work independently from the Addis Ababa head office and communicate effectively with project teams working at different sites. Important: This position is not only a P6 data-entry role. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a practical project planning, progress monitoring, resource planning, and cash-flow forecasting system for PHI Engineering.
