About the Role:- We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Production Planning and Control Officer (PPC Officer) to join our furniture manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling production activities to ensure efficient utilization of resources, timely delivery of products, and achievement of production targets. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain production plans and schedules based on customer orders and production capacity. Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to production schedules. Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and sales departments to ensure smooth workflow. Track raw material requirements and coordinate with the procurement team to avoid shortages. Monitor work-in-progress and finished goods inventory levels. Analyze production performance and identify bottlenecks or delays. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials. Assist in implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Follow up on production orders to ensure on-time completion and delivery. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum5 (five) years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in a furniture manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Experience Experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or related production industries. Familiarity with production KPIs, capacity planning, and inventory management techniques.
