The Psychology Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging psychology lessons that help students understand human behavior, mental processes, and psychological theories. The teacher creates a positive learning environment, assesses student progress, and supports students' academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver psychology lessons in accordance with the curriculum. • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments. • Teach key psychology concepts, theories, research methods, and applications. • Assess and evaluate students' academic performance through assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations. • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning. • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress. • Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment. • Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and ethical understanding of psychological issues. • Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events. • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administrators regarding student progress. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). • Teaching certification or license as required by the relevant education authority. • Strong knowledge of psychology principles and educational practices. • Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
