Position: Purchaser Reports to: Manager – Finance Department Salary: Based on Company Scale Purpose of the Job The Purchaser is responsible for managing and supporting the company’s purchasing activities by sourcing and procuring goods and services in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner. The role ensures that purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures while maintaining good supplier relationships and supporting the operational needs of the organization. Key Duties and Responsibilities · Purchase goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures. · Prepare and process purchase requests, quotations, and purchase orders. · Identify and communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing. · Coordinate with suppliers and follow up on orders and deliveries to ensure timely supply. · Conduct price comparisons and support supplier evaluation and selection. · Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and procurement documentation. · Monitor stock requirements and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies. · Ensure that purchased goods and services meet the required quality and specifications. · Monitor purchasing activities and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures. · Prepare purchasing reports and maintain proper documentation of all purchasing transactions. · Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal departments. · Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Qualifications and Experience · Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. · Previous experience in logistic sector is highly desirable.
