v Ensures health and safety requirements are met by the department. v Preparing department draft budget and requesting for approval. v Oversees inspection results (Sampling and testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products) using regulatory body, international, company and customer standards. v Preparing Quality reports, including analytical reports (for raw materials and for finished products), certificates of analysis (CoA) for finished products and stability reports. v Ensure all the company products and services meeting quality standards and develop product requirement by working with customers and employees and outsourcing firms. v Manage, monitor, measure and review internal process those affects the quality of the products. v Timely Calibrates analytical equipment’s, (as and when required). v Planning and implementation of all activities of quality control department including carrying out activities in the laboratory and carrying out the in-process control. v Checking batch records from process and keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issue and news with respect to product (service) quality. v Fostering a well-trained and motivate staff maintains discipline and conduct employee performance reviews. v Prepare annual action plan for the quality department as per the company standard and requirement. v Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications v Assessing Customer requirements and ensuring that these are met & setting Customer service standards v Specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers v Ensuring that manufacturing process comply with standards at both national and international level. v Work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions. v Provide training and guidance to employees on QA, QC & hygiene processes and procedures. v Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment in line with QA & IMS standards v Writing management and technical reports and customers charters. v Determining training needs, plan, provide and ensure its effectiveness. v Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality. v Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information.
