We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Quality Assurance (QA) & Software Tester to help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our software products. Position Summary The Quality Assurance (QA) & Software Tester will be responsible for testing web, mobile, and backend applications to ensure they meet functional, performance, and quality standards before release. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and operations teams to identify defects, verify fixes, and contribute to delivering high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Software Testing • Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and backend applications. • Review software requirements and acceptance criteria to develop effective test cases. • Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts. • Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and smoke testing. • Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before releases. • Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools. • Ensure applications meet business and user requirements before deployment. • Participate in release validation and production readiness testing. Quality Assurance • Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle. • Verify compliance with functional and non-functional requirements. • Assist in developing and improving QA processes and testing standards. • Maintain detailed testing documentation and reports. • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and software demonstrations. • Provide feedback to improve user experience and product quality. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with internal teams and customers. Continuous Improvement • Recommend improvements to testing processes and quality standards. • Learn and adopt test automation tools and best practices. • Stay up to date with software testing methodologies and emerging technologies. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • 1–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. • Fresh graduates with strong academic performance, internship experience, or personal QA projects are encouraged to apply. Technical Skills Experience or knowledge in the following areas is preferred: • Manual software testing • Test case design and execution • Bug tracking tools (Jira, GitHub Issues, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar) • API testing using Postman or similar tools • Basic SQL for database validation • Mobile application testing (Android and iOS) • Web application testing • REST API concepts • Browser Developer Tools • Version control using Git • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development • Knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar) is an advantage.
