Number of Positions: 1 Summary of the Position Responsible for maintaining the hospital’s Quality Management System (QMS), supporting continuous quality improvement, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and promoting patient safety across hospital operations. Duties and Responsibilities Quality Management & Compliance Institutionalize and maintain the hospital’s Quality Management System. Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives across business units. Maintain and update quality policies, procedures, audits, and SOPs. Monitor compliance with applicable statutory and legal requirements. Auditing & Performance Monitoring Lead regular internal business-unit quality audits. Coordinate clinical audit programs and ensure they are conducted regularly. Monitor and report key performance indicators related to quality. Maintain accurate quality-related records and reports. Patient Safety & Risk Management Identify potential quality and patient-safety risks. Develop and implement appropriate risk-mitigation strategies. Support patient-safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Follow up on corrective actions resulting from audits and identified risks. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Doctor of Medicine (MD/General Practitioner) degree from a recognized university. Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical, hospital, healthcare operations, or related roles. Experience or certification in Quality Improvement and Quality Management Systems is advantageous. Knowledge of ISO 9001, TQM, or related quality systems is desirable. Training in patient safety and clinical auditing is an advantage. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Good documentation, reporting, and teamwork abilities.
