Project Overview Vortex visual (Sheger wedding store) is an integrated event services provider operating across multiple verticals, including wholesale event supplies, technical rentals (LED/AV), and custom fabrication (wood/metal workshops). We are seeking a consulting partner to transform our operational architecture. Our goal is to unify our diverse departments into a scalable, high-efficiency organization with clear accountability, standardized processes, and data-driven performance management. Scope of Work The consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of: • Organizational Structuring: Designing a clear organizational chart that bridges the gap between creative services, technical field operations, and manufacturing/warehouse production. • Operational SOPs: Developing technical and administrative Standard Operating Procedures covering: • Workshop Production: Material procurement, fabrication quality control, and safety protocols. • Inventory & Rental Management: Asset tracking, maintenance schedules, and deployment logistics for LED and event equipment. • Field Operations: Setup/dismantle procedures and site-safety protocols. • Integrated Workflow Mapping: Streamlining communication between the sales, workshop, and rental teams to eliminate bottlenecks in project delivery. • Performance Governance (KPIs): Establishing specific KPIs for each division (e.g., equipment utilization rates, workshop output efficiency, project profitability, and client satisfaction metrics). • Reporting Architecture: Creating a standardized reporting dashboard for leadership to track real-time project status, financial performance, and resource allocation. • Regulation: making a practical and effective rules and regulation that is inline with the current Ethiopian labor proclamation. Required Qualifications & Experience We are looking for a firm that understands the "high-pressure, high-precision" nature of the event industry. Your proposal should highlight: • Industry-Specific Experience: Demonstrated experience in consulting for companies managing physical goods/manufacturing, rental fleets, or large-scale event operations. • Operational Excellence: Expertise in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies, particularly as applied to small-to-medium workshops or logistics-heavy businesses. • Organizational Design: Proven success in structuring hybrid organizations where sales/client-facing teams must collaborate closely with technical production and warehouse staff. • Change Management: Ability to drive internal adoption of new processes in an industry that moves quickly and often faces short deadlines. • Data Integration: Ability to recommend or implement reporting structures that integrate with (or complement) current ERP/CRM/Event management software.
