Restaurant Setup & Operations Manager (One or two -Month Contract) We are looking for an experienced professional to help us establish a new small restaurant (Migib Bet) from the ground up. Contract Duration: 1 -2 month Compensation: ETB 15000 - 30,000 per month Responsibilities • Oversee the complete setup of the restaurant. • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for interior décor, kitchen layout, equipment, and overall migib bet setup. • Recruit and help manage cooks, waitresses, and other staff. • Develop operational procedures and assist in launching day-to-day restaurant operations. • Guide and assist with all business registration requirements, including business licensing, TIN registration, tax (Gibir) registration, and other legal or regulatory processes. ( this is a bit optional but preferred if you have experience ) • Coordinate with relevant government offices and service providers as needed. • Provide practical recommendations to ensure the restaurant is ready for a successful opening. Requirements • Previous experience managing or owning a restaurant, café, or similar food business. • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and staff management. • Familiarity with restaurant setup, kitchen planning, and supplier coordination. • Knowledge of Ethiopian business registration, licensing, TIN, and tax procedures. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and solve problems.
