Position Overview We are seeking an aggressive, results-oriented Sales Representative to drive the adoption of Safaricom Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) products across the rapidly expanding commercial corridors of Sendafa and Tafo . Operating as the face of Leapfrog’s Safaricom partnership, you will engage with small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), corporate organizations, and public sector institutions. Your mission is to understand their operations and deploy Safaricom’s robust enterprise suite—ranging from business connectivity and fixed data solutions to enterprise mobile voice/data packages and digital merchant ecosystems. Key Responsibilities • B2B Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively map out and target potential business clients, large retail networks, manufacturing plants, and educational institutions within the Sendafa and Tafo regions. • Safaricom EBU Product Sales: Drive sales and maximize acquisition for Safaricom enterprise solutions, including Safaricom Business Fibre, LTE Fixed Wireless, Postpaid Business Plans, and corporate digital services. • Consultative Selling: Analyze corporate client requirements and pitch tailored Safaricom packages that directly improve their efficiency and bottom line. • Pipeline & Account Management: Manage the entire sales lifecycle—from initial cold calling and site visits to contract signing and service activation—ensuring seamless coordination with Leapfrog's technical onboarding teams. • Territory Domination: Maintain a strong daily presence in the field across the Sendafa and Tafo sectors to ensure high brand visibility and relationship retention. • Reporting & Market Intelligence: Provide consistent feedback to Leapfrog management regarding local competitor movements, network coverage performance, and emerging business trends in the assigned territory. Qualifications & Experience • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, Information Technology, or a related field. • Experience: • Minimum of 1–3 years of direct B2B field sales, corporate client acquisition, or corporate telecom distribution experience. • Prior experience selling telecom services (especially Safaricom or other enterprise connectivity products) is highly preferred. • Local Market Expertise: Deep familiarity with the local business landscape, geography, and commercial centers of Sendafa and Tafo is mandatory . • Languages: Full professional proficiency in Amharic. Fluency in Afaan Oromo is highly advantageous for establishing regional trust and navigating local commercial networks. Required Skills & Core Competencies • Corporate Pitching & Closing: Proven capability to engage with business owners and executives confidently, handling objections and closing high-value contracts. • Tech-Savvy Nature: A solid grasp of modern connectivity concepts (Fibre vs. LTE, bandwidth allocations, corporate data solutions) to explain product mechanics clearly to clients. • Autonomy & Resilience: Highly self-motivated, disciplined in route-planning, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic field environment. • Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills built on professionalism, follow-through, and client advocacy.
