Job Purpose The Sales Team Leader is responsible for supervising and driving the performance of a team of Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets and ensure effective execution of sales strategies. The role acts as a critical link between management and the sales team by providing leadership, coaching, and operational support while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and sales efficiency. Key Duties and Responsibilities Sales Planning & Execution • Support the development and implementation of sales plans aligned with branch and company objectives. • Translate branch targets into clear individual sales goals for team members. • Allocate leads, territories, and accounts to maximize sales opportunities. • Monitor daily sales activities and ensure consistent pipeline development. • Track progress against targets and implement corrective actions when needed. Team Leadership & Performance Management • Lead, coach, and motivate Sales Representatives to achieve individual and team targets. • Monitor team performance using KPIs and provide continuous feedback and guidance. • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions. • Foster a high-performance culture based on accountability, ownership, and teamwork. • Ensure all team members meet minimum sales performance standards. Client Relationship & Sales Support • Support team members in building and maintaining strong client relationships. • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution. • Participate in negotiations and assist in closing complex or high-value deals. • Conduct joint field visits to monitor client engagement and sales effectiveness. Performance Monitoring & Reporting • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports. • Track and analyze team KPIs, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities. • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Branch Sales Manager. • Ensure accurate CRM updates and proper documentation of all sales activities. Market Intelligence & Business Development • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. • Provide feedback to management to support sales strategy improvements. • Identify new sales opportunities within the assigned territory. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Coordinate with Marketing, Advertising & Promotion, and Operations teams to support campaigns. • Ensure effective follow-up and conversion of leads generated from campaigns. • Support branch initiatives, events, and promotional activities. Compliance & Professionalism • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and legal requirements. • Maintain professional conduct and uphold the company’s brand image. • Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and adherence to procedures by the team. Other Responsibilities • Perform any other duties assigned by the Branch Sales Manager or senior management.
