(TOP URGENT HIRING ) location :- kality employment type:- full time Job summary We are seeking an experienced and innovative senior Design to lead our Furniture Design Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the product design process, leading the design team, developing new furniture products, improving existing designs, and ensuring all designs meet customer requirements, production capabilities, quality standards, and cost objectives. Key Responsibilities • Develop innovative furniture designs for office, home, kitchen and customized furniture. • Convert customer requirements into detailed production drawings and specifications. • Prepare and approve manufacturing drawings, bills of materials (BOM), cutting lists, sketch app and technical documentation. • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, Sales, Projects, and Procurement to ensure smooth product development. • Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost reduction, material utilization, and quality. • Conduct design reviews and implement continuous product improvements. • Standardize product designs and maintain the design database and document control. • Introduce new materials, hardware, and manufacturing technologies to improve product performance. • Support prototype development, sample approval, and mass production. • Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of design assignments. • Ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and relevant quality management systems. Required Skills • Operational drawing , Cut list , Sketch app is mandatory. • Excellent furniture design and product development knowledge. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and furniture design software. • Ability to prepare technical drawings, production drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM). • Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, fittings, and construction methods. • Good understanding of production planning and manufacturing requirements. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Desired Skills • Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software such as SketchUp, , 3ds Max, or similar. • Knowledge of CNC programming and nesting software. • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles. • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. • Experience in value engineering and cost optimization. • Strong innovation and product development capability. Educational Background • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Wood Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
