Senior Finance Officer (Full-Time, On-Site) Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Employment Type: Full-Time (On-Site) Company: Haddis Art Technology PLC Salary: Attractive Salary + Performance-Based Incentives About the Role Haddis Art Technology PLC is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Officer to oversee the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, cash flow management, payroll, tax compliance, financial reporting, and supporting management with strategic financial decisions. Key Responsibilities • Manage the company's day-to-day financial operations. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Develop and monitor budgets and cash flow plans. • Ensure timely payroll processing and salary payments. • Manage accounts payable and receivable. • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation. • Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations. • Coordinate tax filings, VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory obligations. • Monitor company expenses and recommend cost-saving opportunities. • Support project budgeting, pricing, and financial analysis. • Prepare financial reports for management and investors. • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities. • Develop and improve financial policies and internal controls. • Supervise and support junior finance staff when required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting. • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations and financial reporting standards. • Experience with accounting and ERP software. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage. • Experience working in the technology, software, or project-based industry. • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and business analysis.
