Business Development • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market visits, networking, referrals, and customer prospecting. • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers. • Conduct regular field visits to industrial areas, construction sites, businesses, distributors, retailers, and other potential customers. • Expand the company's market presence within assigned territories. Sales & Customer Acquisition • Present and promote the company's products and services to potential customers. • Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and product presentations. • Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms within company guidelines. • Close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. • Follow up on quotations and convert prospects into long-term customers. Account Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. • Conduct routine customer visits to strengthen business relationships. • Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction. • Monitor customer purchasing trends and identify opportunities for additional sales. Market Intelligence • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends. • Gather customer feedback regarding products, pricing, and service quality. • Provide regular market intelligence reports and recommend strategies to improve competitiveness. • Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend new product ideas. Sales Administration • Prepare daily visit reports, weekly activity reports, and monthly sales reports. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities using CRM systems or company records. • Ensure all sales documentation is complete and submitted on time. Coordination • Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service departments to ensure timely product delivery. • Follow up on customer orders from placement through delivery. • Assist in resolving delivery issues, payment concerns, and product-related inquiries. Collection & Credit Control • Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances. • Ensure customers adhere to agreed credit terms. • Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding overdue accounts. • Support collection efforts while maintaining positive customer relationships. Leadership • Mentor and support junior sales executives by sharing product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer management best practices. • Assist the Sales Manager in training new sales staff. • Lead by example through professionalism, ethical conduct, and achievement of sales targets.
